We are a brand new specialty coffee company located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. After four years of retirement, we wanted to bring a special service to our community. Our passion is coffee so we formed The Coffee Scoop, LLC.

In February 2007 we received our organic certification from PA Certified Organic.

The Coffee Scoop, LLC is Fair Trade Licensed. Consumers are increasingly aware of the social and environmental impact of coffee. This raises a need for labels which show coffee is grown in ways that are good for people, animals and the land. The farmers want their coffee certified with the hope of helping them and their families survive. Working with our importer, we can tell you--our customer--which co-op this coffee comes from and in many cases we can name the farm and the farmer. Lancaster Farm Fresh (LFFC) is a cooperative of 22 farmers in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. The cooperative is made up of Amish and Mennonite farmers who take great pride in building their soil to produce healthy plants, animals and people. The produce sold through LFF is certified organic, with the exception of tree fruit that is grown using Integrated Pest Management techniques (IPM). The dairy products you purchase from LFF are produced on small farms with small herds of guernsey, jersey and holstein cows. LFF farmers do not feed their animals growth hormones or antibiotics. The poultry products you buy come from small flocks that eat grass and insects and spend time, on all but the coldest days, clucking about the range.

When you purchase Lancaster Farm Fresh products you can be confident that you'll receive fresh farm products, raised humanely with consideration for the land, people and animals. LFF cooperative is owned by the farmers producing the products you buy and the money from sales goes directly to them and developing their cooperative business.
